Fillmed laboratories have been working on skin formulations since 1978 and the NCTF135 has been around for this long. It is therefore a very well tested product. Within our skin there are a multitude of growth factors which help with cell-to-cell communication and the production of collagen, elastin, keratinocytes, and aid in wound healing. NCTF135 contains 59 different ingredients including hyaluronic acid, 12 vitamins, 6 growth factors, amino acids, co-enzymes, nucleic acids, and other nutritious ingredients. It aims to boost skin hydration, collagen and elastin to produce glowing skin. It is one of the only skin boosting serums with a CE mark.
MHA10 is a pure hyaluronic acid made in the Fillmed laboratories in France. It is made as close to he molecular weight as our own natural hyaluronic acid as we can get. Because of the purity of the hyaluronic caid it is very hydrophilic – attracts a lot of water to plump the skin. It is therefore not used in the eye treatment as it is likely to cause puffiness. However, in the neck it is fantastic. Generally speaking those that have quite a few lines in the neck would need MHA10 whereas, younger patients with minimal lines would use NCTF135. Treatment with MHA10 would be 3 sessions over 42 days.
Again with any needling treatment there can be a small degree of bruising and redness. There will also be papules visible after treatment and depending on which product is used, this can last for 24-72 hours.
Contraindications to the Fillmed treatments BeautifEYE of Bio Nutri Neck are:
- Open lesions
- Bacterial or fungal infections
- Skin cancer
- Haemophilia (blood clotting disorder)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Solar keratosis
- Autoimmune diseases
- Active herpes
- Epilepsy
- Papulopustular rosacea
- Uncompensated pancreatic diabetes
As with most treatments involving needles, it is important not to take long hot showers, hot baths, saunas, steam rooms for 24 hours after treatment. Alcohol should be avoided for 24 hours. Don’t exercises or swim for 24 hours .Avoid UV light for 48 hours and always wear factor 50 sunscreen. Don’t use any active products such as retinoids for 72 hours. Do not touch the area, wear make up for 12 hours. Clean your glasses and sunglasses and use a clean pillow case following treatment. All of this will be explained to you during your consultation.
