Minor asymmetries and shape issues, elevating the tip of the nose are all possible. However, it cannot slim the nose and only compensate so much for large dorsal bumps. Non-surgical rhinoplasty also won’t help if you have breathing difficulties related to the shape of your nose and won’t help flaring of your nostrils.
It requires a high degree of expertise to perform, due to the risk of the vessels nearby. So not only can you cause a local vascular occlusion (blockage of blood vessels), but dermal filler can also spread up into the vessels which supply the eye and cause filler blindness in rare circumstances. It is therefore very important to pick your practitioners wisely. There is only so much filler that can be applied in one sitting, given it is a very tight area and not much soft tissue in the bridge area.

Aftercare wise, it is important not to wear glasses on the bridge of your nose as this squashes the filler and you don’t have such a good result. It takes at least 6 weeks to settle down and we generally like to see patients at 6 weeks to review if any further small areas need to be treated.
